10 wineries in 5 days

Tour Argentina’s harvest season this March

The goal of this trip is bring Argentine Wineries and buyers together. It is open to Importers, Distributors and Select Retailer’s who are looking to source wines from Argentina.

The focus will be on small to medium sized wineries with little or no presence in the North American market and wines that will sell between $7 - $10, with some exceptional wines with ratings up to $15 and beyond.

We will also be working with these wineries to create private labels in the entry collections for large supermarket and monopolies.

10 wineries in 5 days

Arrive on Saturday to a traditional Argentine Asado (Barbcue) with local winemakers and friends at restaurant in Mendoza.

Monday – Tour of Uco Valley to get an understanding of the terroir, climatology and techniques used in Argentina to produce Malbec and other red wines. This is about a 2 hour ride out of the city into the Andes. We will lunch at a famous restaurant where the winemakers meet and sample wines on the outskirts of the valley.

Tuesday through Saturday - Tour one Mendoza winery during the day and at night have a wine presentation from one Cafayate winery.

You may depart on Sunday or stay and enjoy the wonderful sun and wine.

The purpose of the winery tours is make deals. You will see the vineyards, the processes and cultivation, the equipment and wine production/bottling facilities, you will meet the wine makers and the principles and understand the concepts they are using to make the brand.

The evening presentations is an introduction to wineries from Cafayate to get an appreciation for this unique valley and the very specific wines produced there. Cafayate is known to produce the world's finest Torrontes.

Wineries included in the tours are in Gauymallen, Maipu, Lujan de Cuyo, Santa Fe, La Vajje, and Uco – all of these wineries produce Mendoza wines.

All wineries in the evening presentations will be from Cafayate.

Bodega Los Toneles launched its new brand of flavored wines

Bodega Los Toneles launched into the arena of flavored wine last Friday, during a themed party held at the winery presenting Remix: a wine with fruity flavors that combine white or red wines that can be used, in turn, in drinks or cocktails. A careful packaging is one of its characteristics, and each label (reminiscent of an entry ticket to a concert), has a recipe with the perfect and appropriate for that style of music and life. The branding was done by Guillo Milia, winebranding and design specialist. "Following some vintage inspired packaging (reminiscent of an entry ticket to a concert), I thought a campaign rooted in the personalities describe each musical rhythm, taste and lifestyle." Remix Your Life "appeals to the personality, freedom and self-determination, "says Milia. The first four brand flavors are Lemon Dance, Rock Mango, Strawberry and Pineapple Pop Reggae. The guests were able to learn and know the characteristics of this new drink and enjoy delicious tastings. With this new product, the bet is get to the party circuit and supermarkets. Bodega Los Toneles is also present in the wine market in other segments through their lines, Toneles, Dos Estacas, and Moscatino.
